American computer technology company Sandisk has unveiled a brand-new look in light of an exciting comeback launch in 2025.
Defined by a "Mindset of Motion," the new creative direction reconciles the company's current moment, as well as its goals, with a look that carries its future-forward philosophy.
This mindset of motion "brings people closer to their ambitions and creates a circle of collaboration for progress and future growth."
The brand's new wordmark is meant to signify the mobility and versatility that enable a seamless and simpler world of data expression and storage, with Sandisk playing a pivotal role in empowering people and businesses.

It uses bold visual language and is grounded by the idea that progress is not an endpoint but a way of being, according to Sandisk VP of Creative Joel Davis.
"Enabling people to experience the potential of their data and move forward in making aspirations real is at the heart of what we do and we were very intentional in creating a mark that embodies the spirit of this thinking," Davis explained.

With a strong sense of brand identity, Sandisk knocks it out of the park with its new wordmark, reflecting everything the brand represents with fresh typography.
Behind the Design
With clean lines and a modern minimalist design, the Sandisk mark embodies the spirit of innovation as well as the speed of Flash technology.
The design features the iconic open D paired with a pixel-inspired S, symbolizing collaboration and partnership in shaping the future of technology.
Available in both vertical and horizontal forms, the new design boasts a versatile structure, transcending limitations.
“Our visual brand philosophy is inspired by the future and all the diverse ways our customers consume data," Davis added.
To unveil the design, the brand launched a short 43-second spot simply titled "This is the new Sandisk." It's sure to be a visual treat for all viewers and design enthusiasts.
"Data is everything. It's the building blocks of our world. It's our environment, our technology, how we communicate, create, and innovate. A single data point won't move the needle. But the more data points we connect, the further we can go," the narrator shares.
Amid glimpses of the Sandisk mark are mosaic and interwoven shots of how people interact with data and technology.
"Engineered to embody innovation and defy limitation. Harnessing the unknown to reveal the future. This is the new Sandisk," the narrator says, closing the spot with a full logo reveal.
