Prebiotic soda brand Olipop has launched an adorable new campaign for the holidays, featuring the debut of Oli and Pop, a pair of friendly Yetis.
Helmed by creative agency Callen, directed by Screen Novelties, and produced by Passion Pictures, the ad is a stop-motion animated film that calls back to classic holiday fare like "The Year Without a Santa Claus" and "The Nightmare Before Christmas."
The effort is Olipop's first-ever holiday campaign, launched just as the company hit $500 million in sales this year.

According to a statement from Olipop CMO Matt Bruhn, the new campaign is aligned with the brand's ethos of celebrating uniqueness and bringing people together.
"The Yetis, who appear intimidating at first glance, are shown as clumsy, sensitive, and well-meaning, which makes them lovable and relatable.
Their journey of discovering that their true charm lies in simply being themselves was a metaphor for the holiday spirit — embracing imperfection and celebrating authenticity," he added.

The campaign, which runs across TV and social media, highlights Olipop's new holiday packaging featuring the Yetis on cans of Ginger Ale and Vintage Cola.
By creating a unique and well-executed animated ad, Olipop shows its dedication to crafting a quality story that captivates people of all ages.
This underscores the importance of brand storytelling in forming an emotional bond with audiences.
The Gift of Kindness
The 30-second film opens in a picturesque snow-covered town during the holiday season.
Oli and Pop look happily at the town from the safety of their ice cave, which is decked out with colorful lights and cans of Olipop.
Donning a Santa hat and carrying a sack of presents, the pair venture into town to share their blessings with the townsfolk.
Despite their best efforts to ice skate, sing Christmas carols, and enjoy the holiday spirit, the town's residents always end up running away screaming in fear of the gentle giants.

Dejected, the two retreat back home, leaving behind a big sack of Olipop soda cans.
A curious girl discovers the gifts and realizes the duo's good intentions. She gathers the entire village to visit the Yetis, who are sadly reading a book titled "So You're Too Scary For The Holidays."
The spot ends on a heartwarming note, with the entire village dressed in Yeti costumes as they hand Oli and Pop the new holiday-themed cans of Olipop soda.
The Yetis’ journey is a testament to how creative agencies can turn a simple concept into a full-fledged holiday tradition.
Back in September, Olipop launched its Mountain Dew alternative "Ridge Rush" with a cheeky campaign.
