Global tissue brand Kleenex just launched a new campaign aimed at freshly single individuals going through the pains of heartbreak this holiday season.
Together with creative agency VML and with the help of Amazon Ads, the tissue brand has introduced the "KleenEX: Breakup Calculator," a tool for the heartbroken designed to let them know when it's time to move on from their ex.
Launching officially on International Breakup Day on December 11, the calculator will create a custom breakup timeline for the user based on a set criteria.
After answering a few questions surrounding the details of your breakup, it will then estimate how many months it will take to move on — as well as how many boxes of Kleenex tissues you'll need.

Let's be honest, a digital tool can only make a fairly accurate prediction of how long it'll take for you to get over your ex.
However, what the Breakup Calculator adds is a whole lot of fun amid the heartbreak, making light of an otherwise sad situation, and celebrating International Breakup Day in a humorous and self-aware way.
Witty initiatives like this are the ones that build emotional engagement for the brand, specifically targeting an audience who are not so merry this holiday season.
By collaborating with creative agencies like VML known to produce quality campaigns, Kleenex is able to not only stand out during a competitive season but also
How Does the Breakup Calculator Work?
Users can first head to the dedicated KleenEX Breakup Calculator website, where you'll be asked a specific line of questions that will help the tool gauge your heartbreak timeline.
After providing details on your relationship type (as seen above), the Breakup Calculator then flashes you with a rough estimate of when you'll be ready to move on.
It will also include how many boxes of Kleenex it feels you will need within that timespan.
Additionally, the tool will also flash a coupon code and make "ex-tra" suggestions like songs, films, books, and podcasts that can help with your moving-on process, courtesy of Amazon.
Previously, Kleenex celebrated 100 years with the new heartwarming spot "The Big Day."
