Life360 and Tile have launched a new campaign, dubbed “Family-Proof Your Family,” that taps into the hilariously chaotic side of family life.
Created in partnership with Alto, the campaign features three commercials that highlight how innocent moments can quickly spiral into comedic disasters — showing how a simple tracking tool can avert family drama.
By embracing a touch of dark humor, the ads demonstrate how Life360 and Tile can “family-proof” your loved ones by tackling everyday annoyances like lost items and miscommunication.
"Family-Proof Your Family" marks the first major effort to unify the two brands under one creative initiative, making its splash across TV, digital, DOOH, and social media.
The campaign is one of many initiatives harnessing can't-look-away storytelling to engage audiences in relatable ways, and the tech duo has hit the mark.
Laughing Through the Chaos
Directed by the acclaimed filmmaker Steve Ayson, this campaign features three spots: "Coat," "Funeral," and "Curfew."
“Curfew” opens with a couple lying awake in bed, anxious about their son who has missed curfew and isn’t answering calls or texts.
Worried, the father sets out to find him, asking strangers if they’ve seen a teenage boy.
Eventually, he asks two women on a street corner for help — undercover cops who misinterpret his search for a “15-year-old, slim-built boy,” and promptly cuff him.
The scene then shifts to the teenage boy who has lost track of time while gaming with his friend, watching a video of his dad in handcuffs.
The ad wraps up with a punchline: "Family-proof your family with Life360," implying that the anxiety and chaos could have been avoided with Life360's device tracking feature.

“Coat” kicks off with two parents arguing about their son’s lost coat, unaware of the impact their bickering has on him.
Haunted by their fight, the boy decides never to take it off.
The spot then shows the boy going through life wearing the coat, accompanying him through bedtime, track meets, swimming practice, a romantic tailgate, and even his wedding day.
The ad wraps with the emotional birth of his child, as his parents stand awkwardly in the hospital room doorway, realizing just how much their original coat spat affected him.
“Coat” brilliantly underscores Tile and Life360’s knack for keeping track of everything — from pets and wallets to coats — highlighting the family drama that could be avoided by simply knowing where your things are.
In "Funeral," a woman finds herself stuck in a bathroom at her mother's funeral when the doorknob falls off.
Trying to call for help, she can be heard shouting "Help! There's no air in here! Get me out of here!"
The stunned attendees are left frozen, wondering if the eerie cries are coming from the coffin, prompting the woman's brother to open the coffin and accidentally send the body tumbling out.
The commercial ends with a quick-cut montage of what could’ve happened: the doorknob falls, the woman presses the Tile SOS button on her keychain, and a flurry of "Anita sent an SOS" alerts pop up on various phones.
“Funeral” seeks to underscore Tile’s integrated SOS feature, which sends emergency alerts and location info to your Life360 Circle or emergency contacts with just a triple press of a button — because sometimes, you need a little help getting out of a tight spot!
