If you look up at the Empire State Building and you see a humongous dragon, don't worry, you're not going crazy.
To promote the second season of its hit series "House of the Dragon," HBO has installed a 270-foot inflatable of the dragon Vhagar.
The dragon embraces the iconic monument as it "watches over Hightower and protects the peace."

The marketing stunt comes with a two-minute spot posted on Youtube, showing viewers panoramic shots of the one-of-a-kind display.
To celebrate it, members of the cast, including Olivia Cooke (who plays Alicent Hightower) and Fabien Frankel (who plays Ser Criston Cole), attended an opening ceremony at the Empire State Building.
At night, the building lights up in colors of green and orange to symbolize Vhagar and his dragon breath, making for an outstanding lights show for passers-by.
'Raise Your Banners' for Your Chosen House
The latest from the "Game of Thrones" spin-off comes after several other marketing initiatives it had enacted to hype up fans for the new season.
Videos circulating the internet show flags of the Green Council hanging from Rio de Janeiro's Sugarloaf mountain, with many questioning its authenticity.

Meanwhile, Westeros flags were seen hanging by the Brooklyn Bridge, as posted by the Game of Thrones X account itself.
Unfortunately, these videos were revealed to be a social media marketing initiative by Max.

While we could only wish they were true, it's at least fun to think about.
But don't fret, the streaming giant has also unveiled a new AI-generator that lets fans pledge allegiance to either Rhaenyra’s Black or Alicent’s Green faction by creating their own digital poster through a microsite.
The "Raise Your Banners" initiative will run starting June 10 until the season finale on August 4.
