Domino's is bringing back the famous "Emergency Pizza" program it first introduced last year — only this time, with a few more surprises.
Helmed by creative agency WorkInProgress, the program's return allows customers to get a free medium-sized two-topping pizza with a digital carryout order of $7.99 or more.
The promo is redeemable on Domino's Rewards until January 19, 2025.

Apart from the already exciting deal, the brand also teamed up with Amazon and Twitch's "The Glitch" Fortnite platform and beauty brand Olive & June to spread the word on Emergency Pizzas.
In the game launching on October 14, players will get the chance to experience a special "Red vs. Blue" player map where teams can face off and achieve "Domin-ation" by gaining control of a Domino's restaurant.
They'll also have access to the "secret weapon," none other than the Emergency Pizza, which can restore their health in-game.

Domino's SVP and Chief Brand Officer Kate Trumbull shared that fans loved the Emergency Pizza program so much that the brand had to bring it back in a big way.
"Life can throw unexpected curveballs, and sometimes a hot, delicious pizza is just what you need to turn things around. Maybe you tested a new dinner recipe that turned out to be a disaster, or perhaps you ran out of time to buy groceries — whatever your emergency, Domino's is here to help with a free pizza," Trumbull explained.
True enough, bringing back beloved programs and promotions is a surefire way to get fans excited over your products.
Domino's move to do just that is a tried and tested brand marketing strategy that cultivates loyalty while widening and diversifying audience reach — something that is more crucial now that it's expanding into the realms of gaming and beauty.
A Glam Situation
As part of the fast-food chain's partnership with Olive & June, the two brands will be able to purchase exclusive items at oliveandjune.com starting October 17. These include:
- A limited-edition kit including two exclusive Domino's nail polish colours, "Carryout (red)" and Delivery (blue)," as well as quick dry top coat. The kit will also come with pizza topping nail stickers for personalization.
- Domino's and Olive & June's instant mani press-on nails
- Three special press-on nail designs: "I Heart Pizza French," "Secret Sauce Velvet," and "Extra Cheese Please"

WorkInProgress Chief Creative Officer Matt Talbot shared that the agency will help more consumers know about Emergency Pizza by partnering with beloved brands.
"So whether you’re watching TV, playing video games, or fixing your nails, you know you can get a free pizza when you need it most," Talbot added.
Previously, the pizza brand and agency teamed up with "The X Factor" and "American Idol" judge Simon Cowell to be its new "Quality Captain."
