"The Leaderboard was designed to supercharge the competitive thrill that’s always made Dave & Buster’s the ultimate destination for play,” said Megan Tobin, CMO of Dave & Buster’s.

“Now, every swipe isn’t just a chance to win a prize — it’s a chance to cement your legacy.

It’s not just about playing games anymore. It’s about playing to be legendary."

Developed by arcade game creator Play Mechanix, the tech behind the experience enables select games to feed player data into both local and national leaderboards.

These are then displayed in-store on large-format screens, letting players know where they stand in nationwide rankings.

At 18 flagship locations, the experience is further enhanced with exclusive "Halo" marquee displays.

The Leaderboard feature is rolling out across nearly all Dave & Buster’s stores.

The efforts mark a bigger push by the brand to deepen player engagement and evolve its arcade offering beyond isolated experiences.

Racing Games, Real Rewards

To launch the platform, Dave & Buster’s is running the all-new Summer Leaderboard Challenge, centered around five fast-paced racing games:

  • Hot Wheels Victory Lap
  • NASCAR Pit Stop
  • Top Gun: Maverick
  • Cruisin’ Blast
  • Super Bikes 3

Each month, the top player at each store will win prizes like branded racing jackets and premium display helmets.

At the end of the summer, top national scorers will take home even bigger rewards, including VIP NASCAR trips, arcade machines, and one grand prize: a new car.

The lineup of games will continue to evolve throughout the year, adding fan-favorite titles to keep the competition fresh.
